Our Senior Learning Coaches support students to succeed in achieving learning goals and qualifications to enhance progression opportunities and life skills. They also assist with the planning and delivery of workshop sessions, learning and assessment for learners with learning disabilities/difficulties including autism and complex needs.

We’d like you to have recent experience of working with and supporting students aged 16-25 with a range of needs and be able to work flexibly in response to changing curriculum needs and the needs of individual students. With a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and an enthusiastic personality, you will be able to communicate effectively at all levels and demonstrate a high level of computer literacy.

Experience of working in a specialist school or college would be an advantage, as would experience of sourcing work experience placements for young people with additional needs.

So, if you think you have what it takes to be one of our Senior Learning Coaches, we want to hear from you!

The successful candidate will be eligible for any increase in salary as a consequence of the annual cost of living review that will be implemented in the new academic year.

There is an excellent pension scheme that receives a significant financial contribution from the employer, subsidised sports facilities and professional development and training plus a salary sacrifice cycle to work scheme. The benefits package is pro-rated for part time staff.
