Valley Care Direct are looking for local Community Care Workers to join our care teams in the areas of:

S13 – Richmond and Handsworth
S9 – Darnall and Tinsley
We are looking for part time Care Assistants to join our family like team. Where you’ll provide life-changing care and support that enables vulnerable adults of all ages to live fulfilling lives in their own homes.

Our shifts are patterns are:

7am - 3pm
3pm - 10pm
Alternative weekends
Job Description:

Our home care assistants are responsible for assisting service users with personal care such as washing, bathing and toilet arrangements.
Helping service users overcome any mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including helping in the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
Domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes
Help with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks
Support with administrating medication.
Contribute as needed to a person’s end-of-life care
Requirements:

Have a right to work within the UK
A driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred for this role
No previous experience is necessary but you will need to demonstrate real compassion, be an excellent communicator and problem solver, and be committed to delivering high-quality, respectful care
