The Opportunity
A welcoming secondary school in Nottingham is seeking a Teaching Assistant to provide classroom support on a full-time, long-term basis.
This is a general TA role supporting pupils across the school day, working alongside teachers to help students stay engaged, confident, and on track with their learning.
The Role
- Support pupils during lessons across a range of subjects
- Work 1:1 and with small groups to reinforce learning
- Assist teachers with classroom activities and behaviour routines
- Encourage focus, motivation, and positive behaviour
- Help create a calm, supportive learning environment
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people (school, youth work, mentoring, coaching, etc.)
- A patient, reliable, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to commit to a full-time, long-term role
- Enhanced DBS, or willingness to apply
