Resident Hotels is seeking an enthusiastic Finance Assistant to join their growing team on a fixed term basis, creating personalised experiences to mirror our guests’ onsite experience.
Resident Hotels is a specialist Hotel Management platform, that manages two hotel brands The Resident London, Liverpool and Edinburgh and Four Points Flex by Sheraton Cardiff, Newcastle, Dundee and Edinburgh. We currently manage and operate 9 hotels across the two brands.
The role is based on a fixed term contract, 4 to 6 weeks and you will be based in our HQ in central London.
As our next Finance Assistant at Resident Hotels, you will:
- assist with year end audit
- perform reconciliations on control accounts and bank and deal with outstanding queries
- perform suppliers and customers reconciliations and deal with outstanding queries
- perform supplier set up in financial system (Sage Intacct) and make sure that it is correctly coded in P2D
- process card expense and reconcile corresponding ledgers
- credit card reconciliation: PMS (Opera / Guestline) - Financial System (Intacct) - Bank
- assist with any other communication within the Company
- perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager
We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our team who has:
- Associate degree in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or similar field
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Several years of experience in a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; knowledge of accounting software Sage Intacct preferred
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills; attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work well with others and handle confidential information
- Organised and efficient; able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Flexible and adaptable; willing to learn new skills and take on new challenges
