Elco Recruitment are an agency that supplies workers within the Construction industry.
We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor / Quality Assurance Supervisor to support works at a nuclear power station in Aldermaston. The successful candidate will play a key role in supervising site activities, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining strict compliance with nuclear safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
This role requires a highly organised individual with strong site experience, attention to detail, and the ability to use digital tools for reporting and quality records.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day site activities to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards
Carry out quality inspections and audits in line with project specifications, ITPs, and nuclear quality requirements
Ensure compliance with all nuclear safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
Maintain accurate QA documentation, including inspection records, NCRs, and photographic evidence
Use digital devices (tablet/phone) to capture photos, complete reports, and update quality records
Liaise with contractors, engineers, and project management to resolve quality or site issues
Support site inductions, toolbox talks, and safe systems of work
Report progress, issues, and non-conformances clearly and promptly
Requirements
Proven experience as a Site Supervisor and/or QA Supervisor
Previous experience working in a nuclear or highly regulated environment (Preferred)
Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and site supervision
Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
Technically savvy – confident using smartphones, tablets, and digital reporting systems
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to work long site hours (8–11 hours per day)
Relevant site safety qualifications (e.g. CSCS, SMSTS/SSSTS)

Working Hours:
8–11 hours per day (site-based)
Site-based role at a secure nuclear facility
All candidates must be able to meet security clearance requirements
