Are you comfortable talking to people, building trust, and identifying opportunities to help members get more value?
The Federation of Independent Retailers (The Fed) is looking for a Membership Advisor to join our Head Office Contact Centre team. This role blends sales and customer service, focusing on growing our membership while ensuring existing members fully benefit from their Fed membership.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Speaking with independent retailers via inbound and outbound calls
Identifying opportunities to recruit new members
Promoting membership benefits and partner offers in a consultative way
Supporting existing members with queries and follow-ups
Building long-term relationships with members
Taking part in sales and engagement campaigns
Updating customer information on CRM systems
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in customer service, sales, retail, or a contact centre environment
Friendly, confident, and professional communication style
Comfortable discussing products and benefits
Organised, motivated, and able to manage your own workload
Team player with a member-first mindset
IT literate (Microsoft Office and CRM systems)
Flexible to work on a rota (07:00–17:00, occasional weekends/bank holidays – time off in lieu)
Driving licence would be advantageous
