We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Lawyer to join our reputable legal team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing expert legal advice and representation in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, adoption, and related issues. Duties
Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on family law matters, ensuring they understand their rights and options.
Draft and review legal documents such as affidavits, agreements, and court pleadings.
Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations related to family disputes.
Negotiate settlements between parties to achieve favourable outcomes for clients.
Conduct legal research to stay updated with current laws and regulations affecting family law.
Manage a caseload effectively, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
Liaise with external parties such as courts, social services, and other legal professionals.
Maintain accurate records of case progress and client communications while ensuring strict confidentiality.
Requirements
Qualified solicitor or legal executive specialising in family law with relevant practising certificate.
Proven experience in handling family law cases from inception to resolution.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to achieve favourable settlements for clients.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, tailored to diverse client needs.
High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion at all times.
