Act as a Maternity and Neonatal expert to help manage and proactivelypromote relationships with key stakeholders. Provide clinical leadership for quality improvement across the West ofEngland, raising awareness and encouraging the involvement of cliniciansfrom all disciplines. Help create the clinical vision for implementation of the Patient SafetyCollaborative workstreams and give clinical advice on priority setting,measurement, and evaluation. Participate, where appropriate, in national events and national andregional networking, collaborating with other Health Innovationorganisations working on similar themes. Respond to and report to the HIN assurance and reporting processes andthe national Patient Safety Collaborative as required.Main duties and responsibilitiesMain duties and responsibilitiesTo deliver the identified work programme effectively the Maternity and Neonatal Clinical Leadwill need to:Demonstrate evidence of partnership working, persuasion, negotiation andinfluencing skills at local and/or national level.Build strong collaborative relationships with other clinical and professional networks.Promote and provide an evidence-based approach to decision making.Ensure projects benefit from the best clinical expertise and evidence available.Maintain credibility with all key players, fostering a culture of collaboration for thedelivery of equitable, high-quality care.Foster a culture of multi-professional engagement across healthcare pathways.Act as a champion for patients and their interests and involve the public and patientsin programme developments and decision-making.Uphold organisational policies and principles on the promotion of equality and antiracism.Work with other structures, systems and organisations, aligning innovation,education, informatics and quality improvement.Use insight in the use of data analysis to inform quality improvement.Ensure compliance with all governance requirements within Health Innovation Westof England.Adhere to relevant professional codes of conduct.
