Crynodeb
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Clinical The appointee should be able to demonstrate experience and specific interest in the management of patients with: (10PA + on-calls - Lymphoma) Lymphoma related haematological disorders, general haematology and laboratory haematology. The successful candidate will be encouraged to develop disease specific areas of interest, working alongside the current team working across sites. Inpatients The appointee will participate in the attending and on-call rota , supported by and working with clinical team's trust-wide. They will be responsible for managing a cohort of inpatients and providing specialist liaison advice. Outpatients The appointee will be expected to participate in number of clinics per week, predominantly dealing with their respective sub-specialty as per job plan, but also consideration for other subspecialist workload could be considered, depending on applicants experience to date. The delivery of outpatient activity will include opportunities to support clinical trial recruitment and PI roles within the department. There will be the integrated weekly multidisciplinary team meeting, plus monthly quality meetings, educational sessions, journal clubs and mortality and morbidity meetings. For the ward attending commitments, the appointee will be expected to provide reciprocal cover for periods of leave.
