About the Role
In this role, you will support people who use our service to enjoy meaningful, fun and engaging days. You will help them take part in activities, support their independence and wellbeing, and build positive, trusting relationships. You will play an important part in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and supported.
The service offers a wide range of activities based on people’s interests, including woodworking, arts and crafts and drama, as well as trips to the seaside and other outings. We also host cream teas, games nights, discos and indoor events, along with weekend caravan holidays that many people really look forward to. You will work as part of a dedicated and supportive staff team who always go the extra mile for the people we support.

Hours
This role is for 20 hours per week, working Tuesday to Friday 10:00am – 3:00pm
Location
The role is based at Footscray, Bexley.
About You
Are you passionate about making a positive difference in people’s lives? Do you enjoy working as part of a supportive team where no two days are the same? If so, we would love to hear from you.
We are looking for someone who is kind, patient and compassionate, with a genuine interest in supporting others. You will enjoy working as part of a team, be reliable and approachable, and feel confident getting involved in activities. Experience is helpful but not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided. A driving licence is essential for this role as you will be required to drive a mini bus as transport to activities.
