We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care to individuals in home care settings in East Riding of Yorkshire, Bridlington and surrounding areas. The role involves supporting clients with daily activities, medication management, and emotional well-being, ensuring they receive respectful and personalised care. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, patience, and a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for those they support.
Duties
Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Support with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
Administer medication in accordance with care plans and medical guidelines
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements
Maintain accurate records of care provided and update care plans regularly
Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
Manage behaviour effectively using appropriate techniques and strategies
Provide emotional support and companionship to clients experiencing dementia or other health conditions
Assist with light housekeeping duties to ensure a safe and clean environment
Support clients' family members through case management and communication
Must have a UK driving licence and own a vehicle.
