An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced neuro Speech and Language Therapist to join the Wolfson Neurorehabilitation Centre SLT service based at Queen Mary’s Hospital. The successful applicant will work with the Professional and Clinical Lead Speech and Language Therapist and the Lead Therapist for Neurosciences to implement and support service delivery of highly specialist, evidence based care.
The post holder will lead the Speech and Language Therapists working in inpatient neurorehabilitation at Queen Mary’s Hospital. They will have extensive experience working with neurological swallowing and communication disorders. The post holder will manage and advise on complex cases and be responsible for ensuring clinical governance and ongoing service innovations within the relevant clinical area. They will have experience in supervising, developing and managing others and will have advanced communication skills and be a strong team player. The post holder will work closely with the MDT, Principal SLTs in Neurorehabilitation at St George’s Hospital and the Wolfson Outpatient Cognitive Rehabilitation Service and the wider SLT team. They will be joining a highly proficient, professional, patient centred and innovative Speech and Language Therapy department offering excellent support and well established CPD opportunities.
