An established and well-respected FE college in Chelmsford is seeking a Gas & Plumbing Lecturer to join their construction and building services department. This is an excellent opportunity for an industry professional or experienced lecturer who wants a stable, rewarding role with real impact.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging, practical and theory-based lessons in Gas and Plumbing

  
  

• Teach learners across FE levels (Level 1–3)

  
  

• Prepare students for industry standards, qualifications and employment

  
  

• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback

  
  

• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement

  
  

  What We’re Looking For:

  • Industry experience in Gas and/or Plumbing

    
    

  • Relevant vocational qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

    
    

  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or willingness to work towards one)

    
    

  • Strong communication skills and a passion for education

    
    

  • Gas Safe registration (desirable but not essential depending on delivery area)
