Job Details
Catering Experience and a Qualification such as an SVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent is essential for this post.
In these Monday to Friday, Mobile Catering Supervisor post, you would be responsible for all activities in the kitchen and its surrounds including cooking, organisation and supervision of food service.
Supervising staff working in the kitchen.
You must be aware of HACCP Procedures and ensure all Paperwork and electronic returns are completed and submitted according.
Understanding dietary and nutritional needs.
Duties may also include transporting and serving of meals, general kitchen and dining room duties (for example washing up, setting up and clearing away equipment and tables), and cleaning of the kitchen, its surround.
We have a permanent vacancy to join our team working in Primary or High schools in Central Fife, with a High School as a base:

Post - 30 hours per week on a 38-week contract, as required between 8:00am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday.
You will earn a competitive salary of £25,885.80 to £28,175.91 -rata and annualised payments with access to a range of benefits, including:
£13.79 per hour to start, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
Pay is annualised for 38-week contract (equal instalments every 4 week pay period)
Generous Holiday allowance.
Travel expenses will be paid – we pay 45 pence per mile to staff using their own car.

Training on In House systems will be provided. Working towards an Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate will be essential once in post.
The Person
Catering Experience or a Qualification such as an SVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent is essential for this post.
Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
Ability to provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a Team.
Have the ability to travel to numerous locations within the specified area of work at short notice.
You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.
