We are seeking an experienced , motivated, and community-minded Club Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our well-established Working Men’s Club.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing operations, staff, finances, and ensuring a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable environment for members and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Overall management of the club’s daily operations
Managing and supervising bar and club staff
Stock control, ordering, and supplier liaison
Financial management including tills, banking, and reporting to the committee
Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health & safety, and club policies
Organising and promoting events and entertainment
Maintaining high standards of customer service
Acting as the main point of contact between staff, committee, and members
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Proven experience in club, bar, or hospitality management
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Good financial and administrative ability
Excellent communication and people skills
A good understanding of licensing regulations
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event nights
A friendly, professional approach with a strong sense of community
