What skills and experience we're looking for
Are you interested in working term time only?
We are a vibrant and inclusive one form entry school and are proud to be part of a rich, multi-cultural community. We are seeking to appoint a learning support assistant who is caring and enthusiastic from March / April 2026.
The successful candidates will work in close partnership with our SENCo, the class teachers, parents and other agencies to support the children across the school to achieve in lessons and have a happy time at school.
Although experience and qualifications are desirable, we may be able to adapt the role to suit candidates who are willing to train and learn as they go.
The successful applicant will:
• be supportive of our ethos
• have patience, and a kind approach;
• have a passion for children’s social progress and well being in addition to their academic success;
• be enthusiastic, self-motivated, creative and able to use their initiative;
• be committed to working as part of a team that has a ‘can do’ attitude;
• be flexible in the way they approach learning;
• be positive, calm and caring and able to sensitively support children;
• understand confidentiality and safeguarding;
