Your New CompanyA specialist architectural practice working nationally across high‑value residential projects is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Architect to join its growing team. With projects ranging up to £2 million and a reputation for excellence, the practice combines technical expertise with a highly personalised approach.You will join a dedicated, supportive, and ambitious team, with the chance to work on exceptionally rewarding projects.
Your New RoleAs Senior Architect, you will play a pivotal role within the team, taking responsibility for both leading a group of designers and delivering your own high‑quality projects. You will be involved in concept design through to delivery, ensuring all work meets the organisation's robust quality standards. Operating nationally, you will manage a varied workload and travel regularly to project sites.This is a key position within the architectural function, offering the opportunity to influence team growth, contribute to leadership discussions, and shape the continued success of the department.
What You'll Need to SucceedYou will ideally have:
- Proven experience in a senior or leadership role within an architectural environment.
- The ability to manage, mentor and motivate a team effectively.
- Strong residential design skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Thorough understanding of Building Regulations, Accessible Design, and technical detailing.
- Confident communication skills to engage with clients, consultants, solicitors, and regulatory bodies.
- AutoCAD proficiency and NBS Specification knowledge.
- Contract administration experience (advantageous).
You will also be ambitious, dynamic, and motivated, with a desire to contribute to both project excellence and wider business growth.
