JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Supply Chain Coordinator to play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and parts throughout Ocular.
As a Supply Chain Coordinator you will manage orders, stock levels, and logistics processes from order placement through to final delivery. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and engineers to support operational efficiency and service delivery.
The Supply Chain Coordinator role offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to grow within a busy supply chain and logistics environment while contributing to consistently high customer service standards.

DUTIES
Your duties as the Supply Chain Coordinator include:
• Supply Chain Coordination: Managing the flow of materials and parts from order placement through storage to end users or customer delivery
• Stock Control and Inventory: Maintaining accurate stock levels across service stock, consumables, parts, and overhead items
• Order Processing: Generating, processing, and amending material orders, service requests, and sales orders with correct scheduling and job references
• Kitting and Despatch: Preparing and despatching kits, service orders, and sales orders to engineers, factories, or customer sites
• Supplier Management: Monitoring supplier deliveries, logging acknowledgements, and resolving delays or discrepancies
• Goods Movements: Managing internal goods movements, RMAs, equipment requests, and stock repairs or replacements
• Purchase Orders and Invoicing: Raising purchase orders and processing invoices, resolving queries with Finance or suppliers
• Compliance and Procedures: Ensuring all supply chain and procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures
• Communication Support: Providing email coverage and responding to supply chain and stock-related enquiries
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Previous experience in a supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or stock control environment
• Experience with picking and packing and handling goods movements
• Good IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office applications
• Strong organisational and planning skills with excellent attention to detail
• Good communication skills when working with internal teams and external suppliers
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• A reliable and professional approach with high levels of integrity
• GCSE-level education in English and Maths or equivalent
