Location: Crawley and surrounding areas

Terms: Full-time, term-time only

The Role

In this position, you will be a cornerstone of the classroom, working hand-in-hand with teachers to foster an inclusive and vibrant learning space. Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Classroom Support: Delivering creative lessons alongside the Lead Teacher.

  • Targeted Intervention: Leading small group sessions or providing 1:1 support for pupils who need an extra boost.

  • SEN Support: Assisting children with Special Educational Needs to ensure they remain engaged and supported.

  • Resource Management: Helping to prepare teaching materials and maintaining an organised, positive environment.

What we're looking for

While a formal qualification in childcare or education is a bonus, it isn't a dealbreaker. We are primarily looking for:

  • Experience: Previous work with children (ideally in a primary school setting).

  • Character: A patient, nurturing, and adaptable personality.

  • Skills: Strong communication and the ability to work effectively within a team.

  • Safety: A firm commitment to safeguarding. An enhanced DBS check is mandatory for this role.
