We have an exciting opportunity for an organised and compassionate administrator to join our Children’s Community Nursing Service, based at The Medical Centre in W9. This is a rewarding role supporting a dynamic nursing team who work closely with children and young people with acute, complex, and life-limiting conditions, as well as their families and carers.

You will play a vital part in helping us deliver high-quality, family-centred care — coordinating nursing visits, managing essential medical supplies, and liaising with families and a wide range of professionals involved in each child’s care. The role is varied and fast-paced, requiring strong communication and organisational skills, attention to detail, and a sensitive approach when supporting families during challenging times.

This role is 37.5hours per week Monday to Friday, working as an integral member of a warm and supportive multidisciplinary team. If you are motivated by making a difference in the lives of children and families, and enjoy working collaboratively in a caring environment, we would love to hear from you.
• The post holder will provide a comprehensive and high-quality administrative support service to the Children’s Community Nursing Team.
• The post holder will assist in the organisation of the team’s workload and manage clinic timetables/rotas/diaries.
• The post holder will take responsibility for booking clinics, managing new referrals, updating waiting lists, responding appropriately to incoming telephone queries, letters, and email, developing, and maintaining efficient paper and electronic filing systems and communicating appointment related information to patients/carers and clinicians.
• To establish, organise and co-ordinate all systems relating to the administration of CLCH’s data reporting.
• The post holder will act on their own initiative in dealing with day-to-day issues.

Just as we care about our patients’ well-being, we care about yours!

We can offer you:
• A comprehensive induction into the community service followed by a local induction to introduce you to the role
• Car lease scheme(only available for Band 5 and up)
• Flexible working options
• Annual travel card loan
• Training, support and development in your career
