We are seeking to appoint a skilled and motivated ICT Technician (Level 3) to join our supportive team and play a key role in maintaining and developing our IT systems.
The Role
As an ICT Technician, you will:
- Provide day-to-day technical support for staff and pupils across the school.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and manage hardware, software, and network systems.
- Support the effective use of ICT in teaching, learning, and administration.
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and updating of IT equipment and systems.
- Ensure systems are secure, reliable, and compliant with data protection and safeguarding requirements.
- Liaise with external IT providers where necessary.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school as part of the support staff team.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a recognised ICT Technician Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
- Has experience working in an ICT support role, ideally within an educational setting.
- Has strong technical knowledge of hardware, software, and network systems.
- Is organised, proactive, and able to manage their workload effectively.
- Demonstrates excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Is approachable, patient, and able to work well with children and adults.
- Shows a commitment to supporting the school’s values and ethos.
