Summary


The Infant Feeding Support Worker, works as part of the maternity team to deliver high quality person-centred care. Supervision and support are provided by the Infant Feeding Leads and Registered Midwives.

PLEASE NOTE - WE CANNOT OFFER VISA SPONSORSHIP FOR THIS ROLE. If you hold a Graduate/Post Study work visa, you will only be able to work this role fixed term until the expiry date of your visa.

The Infant Feeding Support Worker, works with parents and families supporting their chosen method of feeding, promoting the establishment of breastfeeding and safe infant feeding. The Infant Feeding Support Worker will support the Trust in working to achieving and maintaining Baby Friendly Initiative (BFI) accreditation.

Infant Feeding Support Workers working in the maternity environment, will be able to complete routine maternal and neonatal observations and clinical duties to enable the team to provide a holistic, effective and efficient service within the hospital setting.
