We are seeking an experienced and skilled Fabricator Welder with a minimum of 5 years’ industry experience to join our production team. This role suits someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work, values safety, and enjoys working as part of a close-knit team.
You will be responsible for taking projects from technical drawings through to finished assemblies, working with a wide range of materials and thicknesses in a modern, well-equipped facility.
Key Responsibilities-
Read, interpret, and work accurately from technical drawings

Fabricate using mild steel and stainless steel

Confidently work with materials from 2mm sheet metal up to 30mm plate, with the majority of components laser-cut in-house

Set up and operate press brakes, drills, saws, and various pneumatic and hand tools
Welding & Finishing-
MIG Welding: Produce welds to a high structural and visual standard

TIG Welding: Not essential but a strong advantage

Quality Control: Ensure all fabrications and welds meet tight tolerances and project specifications before progressing
Teamwork & Working Environment-
Work collaboratively with supervisors and colleagues to meet production deadlines

Follow all Health & Safety requirements, including correct use of PPE and LEV/extraction systems

Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workspace, taking pride in the working environment
Required Experience & Skills-
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a metal fabrication environment

Counterbalance forklift experience essential (valid licence advantageous)

Strong understanding of correct handling and preparation of different metals to prevent cross-contamination, particularly between carbon and stainless steel
