Job Title: Accessible Communications Lead
- Location: Remote
- Hours: 30 hours per week.
- Salary: £37,000 pro rata

United Response is seeking an Accessible Communications Lead, to ensure the people we support and their families can access information and communications that are clear, relevant, and engaging, by leading the development and delivery of accessible communication across the organisation.
What we’re looking for:
You’ll have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write in plain English, alongside strong organisational and project management skills. You’ll bring experience creating accessible information and materials, with a clear understanding of inclusive practice for D/deaf, disabled and neurodivergent people.
You’ll have experience in graphic design (such as leaflets, posters and booklets) and producing a wide range of digital content, including websites and video. A good knowledge of accessible design principles and standards (such as WCAG) is essential.
You’ll be comfortable working remotely as part of a diverse team, willing to travel locally when required, and committed to completing relevant training.
