Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

The Role
* Carry out day-to-day repairs and both preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery and associated equipment.
* Support the installation, commissioning, and optimisation of new equipment across the site.
* Work closely with the Engineering Manager and collaborate with production teams to maintain safe, efficient operations.
* Use mechanical tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance systems to complete tasks accurately.
* Assist with ongoing engineering projects and contribute to continuous improvement activity.
We're Looking For
* Experience working within a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment.
* Recognised mechanical qualifications or equivalent hands-on experience.
* Confident mechanical fault-finding skills and the ability to work independently when required.
* A proactive, safety-focused approach to maintenance and problem solving.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with colleagues across engineering and production.
