Contract: PermanentStart Date: Feburary 2026Interviews: Will begin as soon as applications are received. We are seeking a dedicated and professional Attendance Officer to join our team. You will play a vital role in promoting excellent attendance and supporting the welfare of our students. Please be advised that this posting may be closed early should a suitable candidate be identified.In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring student attendance data, identifying patterns of absence, and investigating any unexplained absences. You will build positive relationships with parents and carers to understand the reasons behind absences and develop individualised plans to support their child's regular attendance. This may involve liaising with external agencies, such as social services or health professionals, to address any underlying issues impacting school attendance.
Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will be key in building trust and rapport with families from diverse backgrounds. You will also possess excellent data analysis skills and a commitment to working collaboratively with school staff to ensure all students thrive in a positive learning environment.We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
