Summary

Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Management Accountant in our Shared Services Centre in Long Eaton, where you'll play a pivotal role in optimising financial operations and charting a course for success in the world of finance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting the team in the production of the management accounts, ensuring they are produced to the standards required and within published timetables
  • Assisting with the preparation and full documentation of assigned monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Responsible for the treasury function, including processing of all forms of expense claim submissions and payment requests
  • Ongoing reviewing, suggesting improvements, and assisting in the implementation of changes to the processes and controls around all aspects of finance
  • Working with other SSC functions across our group to resolve queries and to implement solutions to prevent repetition
  • Contribute on key projects within the Finance Team, SSC and the Group as directed
  • Building and maintain effective relationships with operational teams and other SSC and group functions
  • Demonstrate a flexible, proactive and professional attitude to all areas of work, supporting both team and individual initiatives in a positive manner


What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and flexible attitude towards working hours
  • Studying towards ACCA/CIMA or other financial qualification
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, in particular Excel
  • Previous experience in a finance environment
