We have an ongoing requirement for MMA Welders for a large long term project in Plymouth.
WE’RE HIRING – EXPERIENCED MMA NEEDED
Location: Plymouth
We are also going to be providing accommodation
Project Type: Submarine
Hourly Umbrella rates :
Standard £36.50
Back Shift £42.00
Sunday & Weekday Nightshift £46.00
Sunday Backshift & Nightshift £49.00
The hours will be 70 per week from the new year and this contract is expected to be on going / long term.
We are providing accommodation for this project.
Requirements
- Must be an experienced MMA Welder
- Ability to pass a weld test
- Willing and able to obtain Full SC Clearance
- NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent
Weld Tests to be undertaken in MMA:
12mm butt weld in the overhead position.
25mm Plate (in two stages) one side vertical, then the backside will be horizontal.
25mm Plate (in two stages) firstly welded overhead then the backside welded in the down hand position.
Evidence of eye test (within the last 18 months) is desirable.
Ready to join a high-profile, long-term project -
Security Clearance:
SC Clearance is required for this role and will be processed for you.
While your clearance is pending, interim work is potentially available off site in while your clearance is being processed.
