Our client based in Dursley are currently recruiting for Demand Planning Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business who are focussed on continued growth by supporting customers with expert knowledge and top-notch customer service.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical ability to quickly identify significant deviance to expected performance.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Commercial Account Managers to review forward forecast of demand for stock
- Monitor daily orders and stock levels in third party warehouses to assess the stock requirements
- Support planning and development of long-term baseline forecasts to manage future demand requirements
- Identify and communicate potential supplier capacity issues
- Place purchase orders with suppliers, track order confirmations and manage the purchase ledger checks
- Ensure purchase ledger is up to date in case of supplier driven amendments and requests where necessary to stay in supply with customers
- Book transport and track the transport in purchase ledger, understanding export and import customs requirement for each load and order
- Ensure paperwork is received and checked at loading and handing over to the customs team
- Support the Customs Team in ensuring that paperwork is compliant
- Develop strong working relationships with both suppliers and hauliers to ensure that stock arrives on time to meet customer demand in a cost effective manner
- Track sales performance vs forecast and flag any stock availability issues to account managers
- Record and expedite non-conformance claims with hauliers and warehouse partners as required
- Work with internal and external teams to plan stock for NPD and pack change projects
- Maintain and manage stock planning sheets, including the management and consolidation of data into the planning sheets

Hours – Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week – early Friday finish

Salary – £35,000 depending on experience + 5% pension, life assurance, study support and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
