£19.57 per hour
Hours of work:
Saturday and Sunday 6am-6pm

Duties to include:
- Lead a team of staff members and collaborate closely with other departmental functions.
- Supervise production lines, guaranteeing punctual and complete execution of the production plan via proper setup of both machinery and personnel
- Fosters a positive, collaborative workspace that bolsters teamwork and enhances team performance engagement.
- Advocates for a positive culture within the team, leading by example, while consistently upholding 100% compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety, Quality and housekeeping regulations
- Manages the protocol of line start up checks to ensure they are completed by staff and that no Health and Safety or quality issues are identified.
- Completes all production and quality documentation accurately and clearly.
- Complies with all cleaning requirements to ensure all equipment and surfaces are clean and sanitised and required hygiene performance is always maintained.
- Manages stocks to ensure correct rotation is achieved, wastage is kept to a minimum and all stock is counted and recorded as required.
- Delegates tasks effectively to staff, routinely checking to ensure task completion.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Management / Leadership i.e. ILM, NEBS, NVQ’s or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ working in GMP or food processing environment, including at least 1 years’ line management / supervision experience.
- Determined and capable of self-development to very high standards of supervision
- Able to demonstrate flexibility and ability to adapt.
- Very goal-oriented, energetic and tenacious.
- Proactive and innovative approach to continuous improvement.
- Real commitment to GMP.
- Computer literate and familiar with MS Office programs.
- Proven analytical and report writing skills.
- Successful record in training of personnel.
- Able to communicate persuasively at all levels, motivate individuals and instil teamwork.
- Effective and proactive team worker who takes and demonstrates responsibility.
- Can demonstrate effective performance management of direct reporting staff
- Able to influence staff at all levels and in other departments.
- Maintains a positive and upbeat approach.
- Able to focus, plan and deliver within the normal working day.
- Organised in approach to ensure tasks are delivered on time.
