One of our clients is looking for a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join their growing team in Tamworth. This role plays a key part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cleaning office corridors across two levels (mopping floors, wiping doors and touchpoints)

  • Cleaning three stairwells, including glass panels

  • Hoovering open-plan office carpeted areas (no desk cleaning required)

  • Cleaning offices and meeting rooms, including clearing rooms after meetings

  • Emptying all office bins, including food waste bins

  • Cleaning and disinfecting three toilet/urinal areas, replenishing paper towels and toilet rolls

  • Cleaning and disinfecting the canteen area, including fridges, microwaves, utensils, doors, and touchpoints

  • Buffering wooden floors in reception, offices, and corridors

  • Reporting any repairs or hazards that pose health & safety or cosmetic risks.

  • Restocking and ordering cleaning supplies

  • Minor maintenance tasks (e.g. unclogging sinks, adjusting toilet seats)

  • Maintaining Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and compliance with universal precautions

  • Occasional cover of morning cleaning duties on shopfloor walkways and First Aid room

Skills & Experience Required

✔ Minimum 1 year cleaning experience (domestic or industrial)
✔ Cleaning training to a recognised standard (BICSc preferred)
✔ Good knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and their safe use
✔ Strong understanding of H&S and hygiene standards.
✔ Excellent attention to detail
✔ Disciplined, organised, and able to work independently
✔ Physically able to climb stairs and lift cleaning equipment
✔ Strong interpersonal skills

Role Details

  • Part-time - 25 hours per week

  • Monday to Friday

  • 14:00 - 19:00

  • Day shift

  • £12.36 per hour
