The role
As a EYFS Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons that support pupils' early literacy, numeracy and personal development. You will work closely with senior leaders and classroom support staff to create a positive, nurturing learning environment where children feel safe, confident and excited to learn. Schools are seeking teachers who can maintain strong routines while building positive relationships with young learners.
Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the EYFS curriculum
- Creating a nurturing, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
- Tracking, assessing and reporting on pupil progress
- Supporting children's academic, social and emotional development
- Working effectively with teaching assistants and support staff
- Encouraging positive behaviour and clear classroom routines
- Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

The ideal candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Experience teaching within EYFS
- Warm, enthusiastic and confident classroom practitioner
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Reliable, proactive and committed to high standards
- Good understanding of safeguarding and primary school policies
