Pinnacle Group are looking for a dedicated Street Cleaner to provide high standards of cleanliness across our sites. You will be joining our Street Cleaning teams who are cleaning public highway areas on Canvey Island and Castle Point.
Our Soft Facilities Management division delivers essential services to homes, schools, universities and public sector organisations – including housing providers and blue light authorities. We focus on creating clean, safe and welcoming environments, with a commitment to quality, community impact and customer care.
Your role will involve driving a 3.5 tonne caged van and traveling to sites across the Borough and Canvey seafront areas ensuring they are kept clean, tidy and safe.
You will need to be reliable, flexible, and capable of working independently. If you take pride in your work and enjoy maintaining clean, safe environments in a dynamic setting, we would love to hear from you.
This will be a temporary assignment to cover sickness and will last for around 8 weeks but could last for longer. Hours will be 7am to 4pm on Mondays and Fridays. 7am to 3pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Litter picking and emptying of waste bins (including dog waste bins)
- Graffiti and fly poster removal.
- Removal of fly tipping, animal carcasses and human waste.
- Cleaning public toilets.
- Removal of hazardous waste from public areas such as clinical /sharps (where trained to do so)
Key requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence held for a minimum of one year.
- Experienced and confident driving a caged van.
- Experience of cleaning services and cleaning equipment.
- Physically fit and able to work with heavy cleaning machinery.
