Lalys Pharmacy is looking for an experienced and/or qualified pharmacy dispenser for their branch in Guildhall Walk.
Fixed work pattern: Monday - Friday 8:30-17:30 (40 hours a week)
Responsibilities will include:
- Customer service; providing advice on medicines and minor ailments.
- All aspects of prescription processing; requesting prescriptions, dispensing, assisting with stock control, arranging delivery.
- Providing pharmacy services e.g. blood pressure, diabetes testing, etc. after training
- Sale of over-the-counter medicines and the provision of information and advice about the safe and effective use of medicines
- Dispensing prescriptions
- Administrative duties e.g. claiming prescriptions and services, end of month submission processes
- Ordering, receiving and storing pharmaceutical stock including date checking
- Helping to uphold the clean & tidy standards of the store.
- Answering telephone and email enquiries from patients and healthcare professionals
Starting at £12.25-£13.00 per hour, depending on qualifications & experience
