Thepost-holderwillactasatechnicalexpertonTrustwidedigitalhardwaredeploymentsorissues,providingsupportforBusinessAsUsual(BAU),andworkingcloselywithotherteamswithinthedepartmenttoresolveissues.Theroleincorporatescustomercare,vendoror relationshipmanagement,operationsandcommunicationsco-ordination.



Thepostholderisalsoresponsibleforworkingcloselywiththeprojectteams,ensuringDesksideteamtasksareidentified,plannedandexecutedeffectively.Thisinvolvesworkingaspartofateamoronanindividualbasiswith3rdpartyvendors,internalorexternalstakeholdersandothertechnicalexperts,ensuringassignedprojecttasksarecompleted

withinprojecttolerances.

Utiliseexpertknowledgetoresolvearangeofvaried,complextechnicalissuesandexplaincomplexsituationsinsimpletermstostaffatalllevels

 Executingprojectsandtasksindependentlyandwithlimiteddirectsupervision

 Respondtotechnicalenquiriesregardingtheappropriatepurchasing,disposal,andeffectiveuseofDigitalequipmentfromalldepartmentsinaccordancewithTrustpoliciesandprocedures

 Escalateanyrecurringproblemswhichusersareexperiencing,sothatamorecomprehensiveandeffectivesolutioncanbeapplied

 ProvideexpertsupportorguidancerelatingtoDigitalhardwaredeployment,servicerequests,problemsorissues

 Liaisewith3rdpartyvendorsasrequired,ensuringthatsufficienttechnicalinformationisprovidedforeachcalllogged

 EnsurethatDesksidedevicedocumentationismaintainedandupdated

 ScheduleresourcesandexecuteworkpackagesallocatedandrelatingtoDigitalhardwaredeployment,servicerequests,problemsorissues

 WorkwiththeSeniorDesksideSpecialistandDesksideManagerfocusingonqualityorcontinualserviceimprovement
