Thepost-holderwillactasatechnicalexpertonTrustwidedigitalhardwaredeploymentsorissues,providingsupportforBusinessAsUsual(BAU),andworkingcloselywithotherteamswithinthedepartmenttoresolveissues.Theroleincorporatescustomercare,vendoror relationshipmanagement,operationsandcommunicationsco-ordination.
Thepostholderisalsoresponsibleforworkingcloselywiththeprojectteams,ensuringDesksideteamtasksareidentified,plannedandexecutedeffectively.Thisinvolvesworkingaspartofateamoronanindividualbasiswith3rdpartyvendors,internalorexternalstakeholdersandothertechnicalexperts,ensuringassignedprojecttasksarecompleted
withinprojecttolerances.
Utiliseexpertknowledgetoresolvearangeofvaried,complextechnicalissuesandexplaincomplexsituationsinsimpletermstostaffatalllevels
Executingprojectsandtasksindependentlyandwithlimiteddirectsupervision
Respondtotechnicalenquiriesregardingtheappropriatepurchasing,disposal,andeffectiveuseofDigitalequipmentfromalldepartmentsinaccordancewithTrustpoliciesandprocedures
Escalateanyrecurringproblemswhichusersareexperiencing,sothatamorecomprehensiveandeffectivesolutioncanbeapplied
ProvideexpertsupportorguidancerelatingtoDigitalhardwaredeployment,servicerequests,problemsorissues
Liaisewith3rdpartyvendorsasrequired,ensuringthatsufficienttechnicalinformationisprovidedforeachcalllogged
EnsurethatDesksidedevicedocumentationismaintainedandupdated
ScheduleresourcesandexecuteworkpackagesallocatedandrelatingtoDigitalhardwaredeployment,servicerequests,problemsorissues
