Summary
Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, inspections and repairs on HGVs, diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults
Ensuring all work is completed to DVSA standards
Completing job cards and maintenance records
Requirements
Proven experience as an HGV / Commercial Vehicle Mechanic
Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred)
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Ability to work independently during night hours
HGV licence an advantage but not essential
