We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to transport and distribute our bespoke, manufactured conservatories to customers nationwide.
This role is ideal for a responsible individual who takes pride in safe driving, accurate deliveries, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a lo-loader box van to transport manufactured conservatories across the UK.
- Load and unload products, ensuring items are handled, secured, and protected correctly.
- Plan efficient routes and adhere to delivery schedules to meet agreed timelines.
- Communicate effectively with the resource department regarding delays, issues, or changes.
- Carry out routine vehicle inspections, basic maintenance checks, and vehicle cleaning.
- Accurately complete delivery documentation, review deliveries with recipients, and obtain delivery confirmation
Skills & Experience Required
- Full UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points.
- Proven experience driving commercial vehicles.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Physically fit and able to lift and manoeuvre heavy items safely.
- Excellent communication skills when dealing with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and loading procedures is desirable.
Additional Information
- The role will occasionally require overnight stays.
- Nationwide travel is a key part of this position.
- 40 hours per week.
