Job Role

Act as the primary key holder, ensuring the school is opened and secured daily to facilitate a safe learning environment.
Manage a team of cleaning staff to maintain high hygiene standards, essential for the health and wellbeing of pupils.
Conduct daily site walks to identify and remove any hazards before the "school run" begins.
Liaise with the Headteacher to ensure all facilities are prepared for key events like parents' evenings, assemblies, and exams.
Ensure the school perimeter is impenetrable to unauthorised visitors while remaining welcoming for students.

Qualifications

Must have significant UK experience within a school setting.
A solid understanding of "Keeping Children Safe in Education" (KCSiE) and safeguarding protocols.
A trade background (Level 2 or 3) or equivalent experience in facilities management.
Must be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check with barred list clearance.
