JOB SUMMARY
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks
MAIN DUTIES & TASKS
- Handling confidential information and data
- Sending data out to customer as requested
- Providing updates to customers on their orders
- Support purchasing by requesting quotes from supply chain
- Collecting information from customers and clients
- Creating advice notes
- Creating customer project packs
- Retrieving data as requested
- Proactively verifying data through source documents
- Updating order statuses for customers
- Double-checking their work to make sure they inputted data correctly.
- Answering in coming calls and meeting guests as they arrive in the business
- Carrying out any other associated tasks deemed necessary by the management
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Excellent verbal communications skills, confident, articulate and effective in absorbing information and disseminating it clearly to others
- Open to giving and receiving feedback
- Disciplined, methodical and problem-solving approach
- Good IT and numeracy skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Remains calm under pressure
- Experience within engineering/manufacturing environment preferable
