The Opportunity: Estimator – Construction
Salary: £negotiable
Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday–Friday
Location: Dundee – office based
We’re searching for an experienced Estimator who’s eager to take on fresh challenges and help shape our future. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our expansion—preparing precise, competitive estimates for a diverse range of commercial and bespoke projects. You’ll collaborate with talented project, design, and sales teams to deliver winning tender packages, while also driving innovation and quality.
What You’ll Do
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for integrated plumbing systems, cubicles, washrooms, and bespoke laminated furniture—no two projects are ever the same!
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and client requirements to produce accurate take-offs.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best prices.
• Contribute to value engineering and project optimisation, always looking for innovative solutions.
• Support your colleagues throughout the preparation of tenders and contract handover, making sure every detail is covered.
What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience in construction or interior fit-out—washrooms, IPS, or furniture manufacturing? Even better!
• Deep understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and installation methods.
• Top-notch numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
• Independence and drive—you can juggle multiple tenders and keep everything on track.
• Laser-sharp attention to detail and a proactive, organised approach.
