Clelands Volvo a family run business who pride themselves on providing the very best in customer service are looking for an articulate and well-mannered individual to carry out reception duties in our busy Volvo dealership in Galashiels. (maternity cover)
As you will be the first point of contact, you should have an outgoing, friendly personality, excellent telephone manners and the ability to work in a busy environment presenting a professional approach in keeping with our commitment of achieving the highest standard in customer care.
Main duties include, but are not limited to :
• Answering the telephone in a timely manner and dealing with enquiries and forwarding to relevant personnel.
• Meeting and greeting customers with efficiency and politeness.
• Screening phone calls.
• Offering tea/coffee to customers in reception (assisting with the operation of the coffee machine)
• Ordering of stationery/printer consumables for the dealership.
• Assisting the service department with pre-appointment calls for vehicles book in for service/repair etc.
• Ensuring that all printers in the dealership are stocked with paper (both invoice and plain)
• Booking accommodation for staff courses/training.
• Keeping the Reception area clean and tidy.
A knowledge of MS word and Excel would be beneficial however not essential.
This is a full time position, hours of work are 8am until 5pm (initially to cover maternity leave)
