Crynodeb
Lead on and contribute to service improvement initiatives, quality improvement projects and task groups in line with service priorities and Trust objectives. Provide clinical leadership, supervision and support to junior staff, newly qualified practitioners and learners, contributing to their professional development. Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care in line with national guidance, clinical pathways, Trust policies and the NMC Code. Manage and prioritise a caseload and service development effectively, demonstrating excellent time management and organisational skills. Undertake and coordinate the full nursing process, ensuring timely and comprehensive assessment, planning, intervention and review of care. Complete a range of specialist assessments, including biopsychosocial assessments, risk assessments and health-related assessments, and follow agreed clinical pathways. Identify, assess and manage risk, including positive risk-taking, working collaboratively with service users, carers and partner agencies. Provide robust clinical and, where appropriate, operational supervision in line with Trust supervision policies. Actively engage in continuing professional development, accessing training and development opportunities identified through appraisal and personal development planning. Develop and deliver training resources and sessions for staff, carers or partner organisations as required by the service. Demonstrate a sound understanding of safeguarding principles and procedures, contributing to safeguarding processes in line with local and national guidance.
