Summary
Drainage Civils Crew – Ganger & Operative
Location: Bristol
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 7am – 5pm (50 hours per week)
Pay: Ganger - £17.50 per hour, Operative - £14.50 per hour
Vector Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Drainage Civils Team on behalf of a rapidly growing drainage contractor operating across the South West.
This opportunity is ideal for an established two-person crew consisting of a Ganger and Operative, however we would also like to speak with individuals with proven experience delivering drainage civils works.
The Role
You will be working as part of a dedicated civils crew carrying out a range of drainage and groundwork activities, primarily for commercial clients, including:
- Drainage excavations, installations, connections, and repairs
- Groundworks and minor civils works
- Pipework renewals and repairs
- Reinstatements following drainage works
- Patch lining and associated remedial works
Pay & Benefits
- Ganger: £17.50 per hour
- Operative: £14.50 per hour
- 50 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
- Travel time paid
- Time and a half for:
- Any work completed between 7pm and 7am
- Weekend work
- Strong long-term earning potential
- Permanent, stable workload with a growing contractor
Requirements
- Proven experience in drainage civils and groundworks
- Valid UK driving licence (at least one member of the crew)
- CSCS Card
- NRSWA (Streetworks) qualification (desirable)
- 360 Excavator qualification (desirable)
- SSSTS (desirable)
- Successful candidates must pass a Drug & Alcohol test
Shift Pattern
- Monday to Friday
- 7am – 5pm
