What skills and experience we're looking for

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to inspire young people as they grow their creative ideas and build their technical skills.

Teaching Media Studies gives you the chance to open students’ eyes to how the modern world communicates, creates, and shares ideas. It’s a subject that encourages young people to think critically, be creative, and understand the messages they see every day—from films and TV to online content and emerging digital platforms. In the classroom, you help students develop practical skills, explore different forms of media, and express their own ideas with confidence. It’s a role that blends creativity with real‑world relevance, making every lesson engaging and meaningful. The post is suitable for an experienced practitioner or an ECT teacher.
