Wilson Stuart School is an Ofsted designated outstanding all age (2 – 25 years) Special School which provides very high-quality education for 282 pupils and young people who have physical disabilities, and/or complex medical conditions.

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistants to join our supportive and dynamic team at Wilson Stuart School.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of our students. Working closely with teachers and other professionals, you will help deliver tailored learning experiences that meet the diverse needs of our pupils.
Key responsibilities include:
• Providing classroom support to enhance learning
• Offering mentoring and pastoral care
• Assisting with the physical care of pupils, including moving and handling
• Supporting students with personal care needs when required
Due to the complex physical needs of our students, experience or willingness to assist with moving, handling, and personal care is essential.
We are looking for candidates who:
• Hold a relevant Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Have excellent communication and written skills
• Demonstrate high expectations for learning and behaviour
• Are committed to making a positive difference every day
