What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a School Business Manager to provide professional leadership across two of our distinct Birmingham academies. You will act as the operational heartbeat for both Billesley Primary, a large, 3-form entry school with a thriving Research School and SCITT programme and Tiverton Academy, a close-knit, 1-form entry school.
Supported by our central infrastructure, you will be the driver behind the scenes, ensuring that financial, staffing, and physical resources are deployed effectively to support our educational vision.

Key Priorities
Financial Integrity: Maintaining rigorous control and accurate forecasting.
Human Resources Management: Manage and maintain all HR Processes within the schools to ensure compliance and an engaged staff community.
Operational Leadership: Leading diverse teams including Admin, Estates, and Catering.
Compliance: Acting as the local gatekeeper for Health & Safety, SCR, and GDPR.

The person we are looking for will be a versatile, solution-focused leader. You will have the unique ability to switch gears between high-level strategic oversight and hands-on operational delivery. Whether you are constructing a zero-based budget, overseeing complex safer recruitment checks, or driving our "Google First" digital strategy, you will do so with precision and purpose.
You will be proactive, resilient, and above all, you will believe that operational excellence is the foundation upon which great teaching and learning are built.
