We're recruiting reliable and hardworking individuals to join a distribution team based in Workington. If you're physically fit, enjoy being on the road and delivering excellent service, we'd love to hear from you!


What you'll be doing:
As a Van Driver, you'll be at the heart of keeping the distribution chain running smoothly. Your daily duties will include:

  • Carry out daily vehicle checks ensuring the delivery van is safe, road worthy and compliant.
  • Carrying out multi drop deliveries to wholesalers and garages across Central Scotland.
  • Complete all delivery paperwork.
  • Collecting customer returns and ensuring accurate documentation completed.
  • Loading and unloading stock safely and efficiently, ensuring goods are secured and transported according to company guidelines.
  • Adhere to all transport legislation always ensuring safe and efficient driving.
  • Follow all Health & Safety requirements.
  • Assist in the warehouse when required.

What you can expect:

  • A temporary ongoing contract working full time hours Monday to Friday 8am till 5.30pm.
  • A competitive day shift rate of £12.71 p/h.
  • 45 hours paid - £572 p/w.
  • Immediate starts!

What we're looking for:

  • A full UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points.
  • At least 12 months commercial driving experience.
  • A degree of physical fitness due to some manual handling duties being involved in the role.
  • A reliable, proactive attitude
