DAY SHIFT ONLY
Location: Corby, NN17 5DP
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
Hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
- Friday: 7:30am - 12:30pm (early finish)
Overtime: Paid at time and a half after 39 hours
Start: Immediate

Due to continued growth, our client - a market‑leading manufacturer based in Corby - is looking to recruit an experienced Forklift & Stores Operator to join their established and supportive team. This is a varied, hands‑on role offering long‑term stability within a company known for excellent staff retention and a strong focus on health and safety.
You will report directly to the Stores Team Manager and play a key role in the day‑to‑day operation of the stores and warehouse function.
Key Responsibilities- Maintaining accurate stock levels and replenishing as required
- Loading and unloading stock safely and efficiently
- Picking, packing, and despatching customer orders
- Operating Counterbalance and Bendi forklifts
- Completing works orders and despatch paperwork
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
- Adhering to all health & safety procedures at all times
- Assisting with customer collections and delivery of parts to field engineers when required
- Supporting the Stores Team Manager with additional duties as needed
- Previous experience in a stores or warehouse environment
- Valid in‑date Counterbalance and Bendi forklift licences
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
- Ability to follow instructions and work to technical specifications
- Proactive team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Flexible approach to working hours when required
- Day shift only - no evenings or weekends
- Early finish every Friday
- £13.50 per hour with overtime at time and a half
