Job Overview
-Job Title: Personnel Support Services Administrator
-Salary: £24,637.57 per annum
-Contract: Permanent, Full Time
-Weekly Contractual Hours: 37.5 (8AM to 4.30PM- Monday to Friday)
-Location: MoD Lyneham, Chippenham, Wiltshire, England, SN15 4PZ
Main Duties
-Join our dynamic Base Administration Office team at MOD Lyneham and become a PSS Administrator for Armed Forces personnel.
-This position requires individuals to:
-Maintain and protect personnel data.
-Inputting and update records within the Joint Service administration system.
-Assisting queries relating to pay, allowances, expenses and leave.
- The role is a dedicated focal point for personnel administration, including direct customer interaction and liaison with supervisors and managers.
-This position offers opportunities to rotate through different responsibilities and gain new skills—full training provided.
- All activities must be conducted in accordance with Defence policies, Health and Safety regulations, and General Data Protection Regulations.
-The role also requires undertaking any additional tasks as directed by the Line Manager, including providing support or cover for other staff during periods of absence.
-MOD Security clearance and DBS Standard is requirement, as well as Proof of right to work in UK. The successful candidate will be required to wear approved company uniform.
