We are looking for a confident and motivated Warehouse Team Leader to join our chilled food manufacturing operation in Nottingham.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will lead a team of 6–10 warehouse operatives, ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant
movement of product while delivering outstanding service to our customers.
This is a key leadership role where safety, quality, integrity, and performance are at the heart of everything you do.

Shift Pattern: Sunday to Tuesday, and every third Wednesday 6:00 - 18:00

Job Purpose
To manage people, product, stakeholders, and despatch controllables to consistently deliver — and exceed — customer and team
expectations. You will drive a strong safety and quality culture on shift while ensuring despatch operations run smoothly,
efficiently, and in full compliance
Key Responsibilities
* People Leadership - Develop, coach, and support team members to reach their full potential
* Health, Safety & Quality - Champion a “Target of Zero Accidents” safety culture and ensure all activities are carried out
safely and escalate issues to H&S or Engineering when required
* Warehouse & Despatch Operations - Deliver and exceed Despatch KPIs and service level agreements and ensure all logistics
processing is completed accurately and on schedule
* Stock Control & Systems - Accurate booking-in of all incoming goods from wrapping into the despatch area and maintain accurate
inventory records using Lawson. Manage stock rotation in line with FIFO principles
* Equipment & Yard Management - Maintain a 3-day balance of equipment and complete yard audits and ensure standards are
maintained
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in a warehouse or despatch leadership role (FMCG / food manufacturing desirable)
* Strong people management and communication skills
* High attention to detail with a quality-focused mindset
* Experience managing stock, traceability, and despatch operations
* Confident using warehouse systems (Lawson or similar WMS)
* Ability to lead in a fast-paced, chilled environment
* Experience within chilled or frozen food manufacturing
* FLT licence
* Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset
